Braselton is located in four counties, Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson Counties and is about 40 miles northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. According to the 2005 Census Estimates, the population was about 2,200. Much of the economy in Braselton is based on minor corporations including Chateau Elan Winery, American Junior Golf Association, IMSA, Road Atlanta and Panoz Motor Sport Group.
